Sergeant Richard “Dic” Donohue is a five-year veteran of the MBTA Transit Police Department. His life changed on April 18th, 2013, just days after the Boston Marathon bombings, when his friend, and academy classmate, was murdered. A few short hours later, Sergeant Donohue was wounded in a shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers in Watertown. Since then, he has worked to spread his message and story of teamwork, survival and recovery to both police officers and the public.
