Officer Jacklyn Person retired from the Foxboro Police Department where she served for 13 years as an officer. In June 2004, Officer Person was attacked by a suspect who was armed with a knife. While defending herself, she shot and killed the suspect and her experience has ultimately led to her retirement. Officer Person has been heavily involved with V.I.P.O., and is dedicated to helping other officers and their families cope with the aftermath of traumatic and violent experiences.
