Mark W. Schmink is a 34-year Police Veteran having most recently served as the Assistant Chief of Police for the Town of Rockport Police Department, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he also served as Director of Emergency Services. Mark’s experience there included time as a SWAT operator, police drill instructor and Commanding Officer for the Cape Ann Region for 10 years. He is also a proud graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session #272), Quantico, Virginia. Mark is a US Marine Corps veteran (Military Police K9 Division) with overseas deployments that included Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines. He currently serves on numerous boards and committees, including Company 2 Heroes – which provides service dogs to combat veterans with PTSD.
